November and December were negotiation months. Minor talks with various publishers and agents. More serious talks with a Seattle firm and mid-west firm, who will remain nameless. Could not agree or trust how the promotion of the book would go or how much influence/contact they could produce beyond what I could do. In essence, I was afraid to give up so much in rights.

January: started my own publishing company with plans to only publish MY stuff. Help! I'm In The Band will be published through Metcor Publications.
Spent today (no school) formatting for eBooks. Whew!

So getting ready for this blog to go public and not absolutely dysfunctional. Just waiting for the final proof on book and getting some gadgets in order. I have to confess that I probably won't be a daily blogger. Too much on the plate. However, I have discovered how much I enjoy writing and that I will definitely put in some effort.

Was really excited to receive the proof copy in the mail. Yup, there are corrections to be made. But looking good so far!!
